The silica content of foreign siliceous raw materials is higher than that of our country, the content of iron trioxide is lower than that of our country, and the quality is higher than that of our siliceous materials.
★Quartz sand used in various countries, ordinary sand is generally mainly produced and used by itself. Due to the uneven distribution of resources and slightly high price of high-quality sand, many countries have to import a certain amount of high-purity, ultra-high-quality sand in addition to self-produced part. Due to the lack of resources and complicated purification technology, pure quartz sand is basically monopolized by Shin-Etsu from Japan and Unimin Group of the United States, except forGermany, Japan, the United States and other countries that can be self-sufficient.
★Ordinary sand, high-quality sand and even quasi-high-purity sand produced in my country can be self-sufficient, but high-purity sand and ultra-high-purity sand still need to be imported. In 2016, the world consumed 300 million tons of quartz sand, and the domestic consumption was about 130 million tons.
